This diploma thesis deals with planning conveyor technology in welding factory in Kvasiny and concept proposal of stacking equipment for skids. The report contains summary of conveyor technology in Škoda Auto a.s., description of the planning process about connection line from new hall to the existing hall, proposal of stacking equipment constructional variants, mechanism load stress analysis, inner effects results and verification by final elements method (MKP) components of the choice.

Optimization of the conveyor technology for transporting bodies between welding and paint shops

The thesis deals with discrete simulation of a intersection between the operation of the bodyshop and paintshop in ŠKODA AUTO s. r. o. in Mladá Boleslav.In this thesis is described conveyor technology used in the area addressed, procedure in the development of a simulation model and tool TriCad, which was used as a support for creation of the simulation model.Simulation model is tested for a achievable throughput by experiments. Results of experiments are providing recommendations.
